ShareInvestor does not verify that all sponsors/speakers are properly authorised/licensed to sell their products or services or that such products or services are regulated by the authorities. Participants should at all times seek advice from professional advisers and the relevant authorities before making any investment.
Any arrangement or contract entered into between a participant and the sponsors/speakers is at the participant’s sole risk and responsibility. ShareInvestor does not endorse and will not bear any responsibility whatsoever for any investment made or arrangement or contract entered into by any participant during the online event or in respect of any matter arising therefrom.
ShareInvestor may postpone, cancel, interrupt or terminate the online event at any time due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to inclement weather, pandemics, acts of God, acts of the enemy, decrees or restraints by governmental or public authorities, terrorism, strikes, war, riots, insurrections, civil commotion, transmission and/or communications disruptions or failure and other causes of such nature), without any liability to the participants or ShareInvestor’s sponsors or partners.
ShareInvestor reserves the right to vary, add, withdraw or substitute advertised programmes or change online event times without prior notice.
By registering for the event, each participant agrees that:
any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used and/or disclosed to ShareInvestor and its related corporations (collectively “SI Group”) for various purposes, including to communicate with the participant for purposes related to the event, to provide goods and services to the participant upon request, and such other purposes SI Group may reasonably deem appropriate, or in relation to which the participant has otherwise provided SI Group with consent;
SI Group may collect, use, disclose and share the participant’s personal data amongst themselves and their respective service providers, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the event or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation; and
the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Material shall vest solely and absolutely in ShareInvestor without further compensation.
The participant acknowledges and agrees that:
ShareInvestor does not exercise any control over the collection, use or disclosure of Personal Data by sponsors or the data protection policies and practices of the sponsors;
ShareInvestor is not responsible for the collection, use, disclosure or processing of this Personal Data by the sponsors or the sponsors’ compliance with any or all of the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act, Singapore (“PDPA”);
If the participant chooses to provide the sponsors with their Personal Data, the participant does so at their own risk and the collection, use, disclosure or handling of this Personal Data shall at all times be subject to the data protection policies and practices of the sponsors which the participant should read and understand before disclosing their Personal Data to the sponsors; and
If, in relation to the participant’s Personal Data collected by any sponsor, the participant:
has any queries, or
would like to withdraw his consent, or
would like to exercise any of his rights under the PDPA, the participant should contact the sponsor directly.
To the maximum extent applicable under law, the participant acknowledges and agrees that disclosure of Personal Data to the sponsor is at the participant’s own risk and that ShareInvestor shall not be liable for any and all claims, actions, losses (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, liability, personal injury, death, costs or expenses including without limitation any loss of data, profits, goodwill, anticipated savings, reputation, business or business opportunity, and/or any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind, regardless of the cause thereof.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and participants agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
